A high-speed chase in Bellville, TX, ended in the arrest of Rami Idrissou of Katy, who was driving a stolen vehicle. Austin County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Bellville Police, pursued Idrissou through the town and onto Hwy 159 E, where he ultimately wrecked the vehicle in Hempstead, TX, and was taken into custody. Assisted by several law enforcement agencies, Idrissou was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading Arrest, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
In a targeted operation, the Austin County Regional Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant in Hempstead, Texas, leading to the arrest of Ozell Gillum (47) and the seizure of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and a firearm. The operation, part of an ongoing narcotics investigation by the Westside Narcotics Task Force (HIDTA), involved multiple law enforcement agencies collaborating to address drug-related concerns in the area. Gillum has been charged with Manufacture and/or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 and is currently in custody at the Waller County Jail.
Pablo Isila Euceda-Hernandez, a wanted fugitive, was arrested in Bellville, Texas, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. The arrest was made by the Austin County Special Response Team, the Bellville Police Department, and the US Marshal Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force. Hernandez was apprehended without incident on federal charges of Tax Fraud Conspiracies and Illegal Re-Entry.

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office responded swiftly to a disturbance call in Bellville, Texas, involving a male suspect discharging a firearm inside a residence. After securing the safety of family members, the Austin County Regional Special Response Team (SRT) and Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT) successfully convinced the suspect, Don Nguyen, to surrender peacefully. Nguyen, aged 24, was taken into custody and now faces charges of Aggravated Assault/Family Violence/with a weapon.
