The 95th Texas FFA State Convention, being held from July 10-14, 2023 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, brought together FFA chapters from across the state for a week of celebration, learning, and community engagement. Among the chapters attending, the Brazos FFA Chapter stood out for their unwavering commitment to both community service and having fun.

Upon their arrival in Dallas, the members of the Brazos FFA Chapter wasted no time in making a positive impact. They joined forces with Mission Arlington, an organization dedicated to serving those in need. At Mission Arlington’s center in downtown Arlington, the chapter dedicated their time to sorting donations, including clothes and appliances. Their efforts directly contributed to providing essential support for individuals and families facing challenging circumstances.

After a rewarding day of community service, the Brazos FFA Chapter took the opportunity to strengthen their bonds and have some fun. They headed to Activate Games, a high-tech gaming center that offers a range of physical and mental challenges. With hundreds of game combinations and difficulty levels to choose from, the FFA members embraced the spirit of friendly competition. Their electronic wristbands tracked their scores, adding an element of excitement to the experience. Activate Games proved to be the perfect venue for the chapter to foster camaraderie and teamwork while enjoying a casual night out.

The Texas FFA State Convention offers a diverse range of activities, providing FFA members with opportunities to showcase their talents and achievements. The Brazos FFA Chapter is participating in the convention’s events, demonstrating their passion for agriculture, leadership, and community service. From attending keynote speeches and workshops to engaging in service projects and talent contests, the chapter made their presence felt throughout the convention.

As the convention approached, the Brazos FFA Chapter encountered a minor hurdle regarding their officer shirts. However, their gratitude knew no bounds as Austin County Printing stepped in to rush their order and ensure they had their shirts in time for the convention.

We extend our heartfelt well wishes to the Brazos FFA Chapter as they continue their journey of growth and service. May the lessons learned and experiences gained at the 95th Texas FFA State Convention guide them towards even greater achievements in the future.
