Friday Night/Early Saturday Morning’s storm, wind, and rain caused a tragic incident at the Stephen F. Austin State Park in San Felipe, Texas.  A tree fell on a tent of campers killing at least one sources told Austin County News Online.com.  Several other downed trees and limbs in the park prevented Sheriff and EMS from getting to the scene immediately due to several obstructions in the roadway.  Chainsaws had to be called in to clear the debris before emergency workers were finally able to reach the tragic scene.

We put a call into Sheriff Jack Brandes concerning the situation and were informed that a statement with further details would be released on Monday.  We will update this story as more details become available.
