Thursday’s meeting of the Sealy City Council was taken up predominantly by Executive Session.  In fact, the actual time council was in session for the public to witness was only 7 minutes.  When the council emerged from executive session the city attorney explained that due to the type of project involving the economic development corporation state law specified that the council would be required to draft a resolution and that resolution would have to have two readings.  At the end of the second reading the council would then be allowed to decide how to act on it.  There have now been two meetings scheduled for the City Of Sealy.  The first will be Monday at six pm and the second will be Tuesday at six pm.  At the end of Tuesdays meeting we will see how the council decides to proceed.
