Immediate Job Openings for full and part time positions Full Time / Seasonal / Part Time Positions are now open at our auction facility in Sealy, TX Switzer Land and Auction is hiring a Yard Assistant in Sealy, Texas. The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of some farm and construction equipment. Must have organizational skills and uphold our customer service standards with every customer interaction. Responsibilities: • Process each item upon arrival, execute the seller’s contract, write descriptions of each item, number items, communicate with management of consignments that will be sold at auction. • Loading and unloading equipment, directing and moving equipment to prepare for the auction. • Inspect consignor’s equipment arriving at the yard • Report & facilitate any required maintenance on equipment • Inventory control * Clean up yard before and after the auction • Maintain safe practices in the work place • Available to work the weekend prior to the sale checking in equipment and the day of the sale Requirements: • Experience in the operation and safety of heavy equipment • Working knowledge of farm equipment, and auction operations. • Strong verbal and written communication • Must be able to positively interact with all customers • Capable of balancing multiple tasks and changing priorities • Excels in organization, attention to detail and time management skills • Willing to learn the auction business • Working conditions – involves primarily working outdoors in all types of weather • Must have a valid driver’s license • CDL a plus We Offer: • Competitive wages • 401K Email your resume to [email protected] Or Mail your resume to PO Box 333, Bellville, TX 77418.
