A subsequent search of Belmonte’s residence on the 400 block of Jones Street led to the seizure of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, marijuana, fentanyl, and U.S. currency.

The coordinated effort included support from the Columbus Police Department and the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office. The Westside Narcotics Task Force, which spans four counties and includes investigators from the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville PD, Sealy PD, Hempstead PD, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado County Sheriff’s Office, and the DEA, spearheaded the investigation with assistance from the Austin County District Attorney’s Office.
