Recently, fourth and fifth-grade gifted services students from Sealy Elementary School and Maggie B. Selman Elementary School had a remarkable learning experience at the Texas A&M Engineering Spark Outreach Program. The program, which aims to inspire and educate K-12 students about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, provided an opportunity for the students to gain valuable hands-on learning experiences and learn about the latest advancements in engineering and technology.

For the students, the experience was truly enlightening. They were introduced to various engineering concepts and principles such as design thinking, the engineering design process, and the importance of collaboration in engineering. They had the chance to work with real-world engineers and through these experiences, the students gained a deeper understanding of STEM fields and how they can apply these concepts to their future careers.
