Sealy FFA members showcased their livestock judging skills at the San Antonio Livestock Expo this past weekend, participating in one of the state’s largest contests with over 1300 competitors. The Sealy Jr FFA Gold Team emerged as the SA Champion Junior Team, led by Atalie Petrash, who placed 2nd high individual, and Ainsley Oliver, who placed 4th high individual. Joining them were teammates Jackson Volking and Hunter Hinze.

The Sealy Sr FFA Gold Team also put up a strong showing, securing 6th place in the Senior Team category. The team consisted of Ryleigh Gilfoil, Kenna Schram, Sydney Petrash, and Mackenzie Simmons.

In the Junior Team category, the Sealy Jr FFA Black Team claimed 7th place, with standout performer Heath Hinze earning 7th high individual. Teammates Chandler Austin, Kash Parker, and Easton Oder contributed to the team’s success.

Notably, the Sealy Jr FFA White Team achieved a tie for 10th/11th place, with members Emmalyn Gilfoil, Ellie Petrash, Clare Snowden, and Keaton Parker demonstrating their livestock judging expertise.

Additional participants from Sealy included the Sealy FFA Black Team, represented by Elena Hernandez, Ella Curtis, Kailee Ledger, and Sarah Siska.
