Fourth and fifth-grade gifted services students from Sealy Elementary School and Maggie B. Selman Elementary School recently participated in the Texas A&M Engineering Spark Outreach Program. The program provided hands-on learning experiences and workshops to inspire and educate the students about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields and prepare them for future careers in these fields.

The Sealy varsity baseball team suffered a 9-4 loss to Needville in a conference game held on Tuesday. Despite their best efforts, Sealy was unable to catch up to Needville’s lead, with Needville maintaining a consistent edge throughout the game. The loss is a setback for Sealy, but they’ve had a successful season so far with a 12-4-1 record.

The Sealy Tiger JV Softball Team emerged as champions in the Wharton JV Tournament, winning both of their games in impressive fashion. Led by outstanding performances from pitcher Cadie Neu and all-tournament players Mackenzie Simmons and Neu, the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork and skill on their path to victory.

The Sealy Tiger Men’s powerlifting team put on a show at the Regional meet, with outstanding performances from Regional Champions Jeremiah Metzgar and Alex Mendez. Congratulations to the team for their impressive showing, and good luck to Metzgar and Mendez at the State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene.
