The Sealy FFA Livestock team recently placed 7th at the Texas FFA CDE (Career Development Event), an impressive achievement that showcases their skills and hard work. The team members – Grayson Oliver, Ryleigh Gilfoil, Kenna Schram, and Sydney Petrash – should be congratulated on their accomplishments and for representing their school with pride.

For those unfamiliar with FFA Livestock teams, they are groups of students who participate in a competition that tests their knowledge of animal science and livestock production. The competition includes events such as livestock evaluation, market animal grading, and meat identification. Participants evaluate animals based on physical characteristics, breed characteristics, and other factors to determine their market value and overall quality.

The Texas FFA CDE is a statewide competition organized by the Texas FFA Association that brings together FFA members from all over the state to compete in various events related to agriculture and animal science. It is one of the largest and most prestigious FFA competitions in the country, with over 12,000 participants each year.

Placing at the Texas FFA CDE is a significant achievement for any FFA team. It shows that the team has exceptional skills and knowledge in their field and can compete at the highest level against other top teams in the state. The Sealy FFA Livestock team’s 7th place finish is a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft, and they should be proud of their accomplishment.

Grayson Oliver, Ryleigh Gilfoil, Kenna Schram, and Sydney Petrash should be congratulated for their outstanding achievement. Their hard work and dedication to their team and their craft have paid off, and they should be proud of their accomplishments. They have shown that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
