Bellville High School recently held an induction ceremony for its newest members of the National Honor Society (NHS). The NHS recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The induction ceremony celebrates the achievements of the students and serves as an inspiration for all to strive for academic excellence and community service.

The Bellville Independent School District is set to open the Bellville Learning Center on March 30th, providing students with practical, hands-on learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom setting. Located in Downtown Bellville, the Learning Center will offer Secondary Career & Technical Classes in Culinary Arts, Graphic Design, Entrepreneurship, and Health Science, along with a student-run store and restaurant. The Learning Center’s unique approach to education and its commitment to preparing students for the real world will have a lasting impact on the community and the students for years to come.

The Bellville Independent School District (ISD) Junior High band recently participated in the UIL Middle School Zone C Concert and Sight Reading contest held at Waller High School Fine Arts Wing. The 7th grade band earned an outstanding 1st division score on stage and in sight-reading sweepstakes, while the 8th grade band achieved a strong 2nd division excellent score on stage and a 1st division score in sight-reading. These impressive scores are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and their band director.

The Bellville High School Playmakers recently advanced to Bi-District in the One-Act Play competition. The students received several awards, including “All Star Cast,” “Best Performer,” “All Star Crew,” and “Best Overall Crew,” recognizing their outstanding performances and contributions to the production. They will continue to compete at El Campo High School on March 22, 2023, and are excited to showcase their talent and dedication to the arts.

The Bellville Brahmadoras triumphed at the Danceline USA competition, earning top honors and recognition for their hard work and dedication.
