During a routine traffic stop on East Hill Street in Bellville, TX, on August 14th, local police made a significant narcotics seizure. Officer Solis initiated the stop in the early afternoon, involving a vehicle with two occupants from Waller, TX, identified as Guadalupe Morales Montoya, 33, and Bradley Wayne Hartshone, 32.

Upon being denied consent to search the vehicle, K-9 Officer Freude and his canine partner, Maggie, were brought to the scene. The police dog quickly alerted officers to the presence of drugs, prompting a search of the car. The search yielded various types of narcotics, including 11.21 grams of methamphetamine, 75.31 grams of black tar heroin, 1.33 grams of brown heroin, 1.27 grams of OxyContin, and 0.6 grams of cocaine.

 

 

Both Montoya and Hartshone were arrested and have been charged with possession of narcotics. They were subsequently booked into the Austin County Jail. The local police department has highlighted this incident as a significant success in their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the area.
