High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest of Stolen Vehicle Suspect in Bellville, TX

A high-speed chase in Bellville, TX, ended in the arrest of Rami Idrissou of Katy, who was driving a stolen vehicle. Austin County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Bellville Police, pursued Idrissou through the town and onto Hwy 159 E, where he ultimately wrecked the vehicle in Hempstead, TX, and was taken into custody. Assisted by several law enforcement agencies, Idrissou was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading Arrest, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
