Congratulations to Kady Schneider on her Grand Champion Senior Showmanship win at the Big Creek 4H Show in Needville. Kady has been working hard all summer and making major progress with her market lamb project! She now looks forward to getting ready for the Austin County Fair.

The Brazos FFA Officers and Advisors worked hard as they took part in a Texas A&M ChallengeWorks Program. The program provides a sequence of games and low and high challenges designed to plant seeds of awareness about team effectiveness.

The Bellville High School began the 2022 year with a convocation. The event featured the Bellville Brahmanettes who showed their Brahma Pride! The event also featured a student panel. A special thank-you was issued to Tylin Jackson for singing the National Anthem, and Quinn Huffman, Mason Wolff, Drew Murrell, Holly Greene, Carlos Aponte, Ruby Olvera, & Kinsley Koehl for sharing their courage and inspiration as members of the student panel.

The Sealy FFA Chapter began instruction on showing and working with their animals. Pigs, goats, sheep and cattle were the lessons of the day. Instruction included handling, working, presentation and what the judges would be looking for. Best of luck to the Sealy FFA as they prepare for this year’s fair.
