After the Q&A session on local government and after Marcus Pena had given his presentation on voting, Assistant Criminal District Attorney Brandy Robinson gave the seniors a very eye opening presentation of social media crimes. ย These acts happen with phones and texting as well as computers. ย One eye opening point that was made was that nothing had to become of the text/post. ย Just the simple act could get an individual up to 2 years in jail, depending on the circumstances and the post. ย We recommend everyone but, especially if you have children, to watch this very informative presentation.
