Record-Breaking Migration Out of California and Illinois Continues in 2022
According to U-Haul, there was a trend of migration out of California and Illinois in 2022, with Texas, Florida, and the Carolinas being the preferred destinations. The trend, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic, remained strong in 2022, although not at the same fast pace as during the pandemic.

Progress on the new Bellville Police Station could be seen yesterday morning as the foundation for the new station was being poured. The new station is located on the corner of Hwy 36 and Chesley, beside J&R Food Mart.
