The Sheriffs’ Association of Texas has awarded a $500.00 scholarship for the 2015 Spring Semester to Adrian L. Holmes, son of Austin County Sheriff’s Office Investigator, Charles Holmes. Adrian Holmes is currently a senior at Pima Medical Institute College in Houston, Texas, and is pursuing a career in the medical field. “Adrian is an excellent role model for all young people in our county. I am very proud of him. It’s a great thing that people all the way up to Austin, Texas honors someone from our county!” says Sheriff Brandes.
