The Sealy ISD Schoolboard voted last night to reduce the homestead exemption for those in the district by 10%. The evening started off with a presentation explaining how the homestead exemption has functioned for those in the Sealy ISD. You can reference this in Part 1 of the video series below:

Finally, after an executive session and a few other agenda items the board moved on to matter of the homestead exemption. The board voted 6-1 to lower the exemption from 20% down to 10%. You can reference this in Part 3 of the video series below:
