The National Miracle Treat Day got some local assistance from the Sealy Fire Department. The local Dairy Queen reached out to ask if the department would take part which they did. The Sealy Fire Department took the opportunity to meet with the community, hand out stickers and allowed children to get an up close look at the fire engine and the equipment. The department makes an effort on many occasions throughout the year to make themselves available for local events in an effort to foster familiarity and support with the community.
The Miracle Treat Day is a yearly promotion put on by the Dairy Queen Corporation in an effort to help their support of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. According to DQ’s website:
Each year, the DQ® system donates millions to local children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. All contributions from Miracle Treat Day go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for your local hospital to directly help kids in your community.”
