The Blinn College baseball team dropped a 9-0 decision in seven innings to San Jacinto College-North in Region XIV South play on Thursday in Houston.
Blinn was held to two hits – singles from Art Hernandez and Garrison Weiss. The pitcher of record for the Bucs was Blaise Wilcenski, who took the loss following two innings of three-run ball.
Blinn continues its three-game series with San Jacinto with a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, at Nutrabolt Stadium in Bryan, Texas.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
