In the opener, Blinn led 4-2 heading into the bottom of the third inning after Cole Smajstrla smacked a three-run double. San Jacinto answered with three tallies in the home half of the frame and added two more in the fifth.
Garrison Weiss added a hit, a run, and an RBI for the Bucs.
Blinn’s Gage Boehm absorbed the loss on the mound after 4 1/3 innings of work.
