Looking for a way to celebrate this fourth of July? Check out these local events!

Christian City Fellowship (CCF) in Sealy, Texas, invites the community to its annual “Faith, Family, Fireworks” celebration. The event is open to the public and will run from 6 PM to 9 PM. Attendees are advised to arrive early to secure parking and make the most of the evening.

The festivities will include live music by Chris Ryan, inflatables for the kids, a grand flag display, delicious food for purchase from local food trucks, and a huge fireworks display at sundown. For more information check out their website

 

 

The 3rd Annual Red White & Free Festival will take place at the Austin County Fair Grounds in Bellville, Texas from 5:30 PM-9:30 PM.. Festivities will include food from local food trucks, drinks, music by John Swantner and Red Bulls and a fireworks display at sundown. Admission is free and attendees can bring their own drinks (BYOB) and lawn chairs.

 

 

New Ulm, Texas has two exciting events on the same day. There will be a vehicle parade with hot dogs and burgers afterward at The Bean Fine. This event runs from 10 AM to 1 PM.

After the parade the New Ulm VFD is challenging the community to a water balloon battle! All ages are welcome. The event will take place on the grounds of St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. After the battle head to the Bean Fien for a community meal. Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring a dish to share. In an effort to have a variety of items people with last names starting with A-G are asked to bring salads, H-P chips or a side dish, and Q-Z a dessert.
