China has cut plastic shipments from the U.S. by 99.1% causing recycling and waste companies to now slap municipalities with higher service fees. China’s ban on imported plastic leaves fewer options to recycle. Some shipments had been diverted to Canada, but it looks like most plastic waste will end up in landfills.

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration Tuesday, allowing federal officials to detain and deport illegal immigrants after they have served their time in the U.S. for other crimes.

Undocumented immigrants travelling in family units have been crossing the Southern U.S. border in record numbers. The number of families arrested has pushed total border apprehensions to an 11-year high in February.
