Buy Local, Go Local Focus – Sealy Pharmacy [VIDEO]

The new Sealy Pharmacy is open and ready for business.  The store opened on February 2, 2016.  Joseph Nidhin, the owner and operator of the Sealy Pharmacy, has been a pharmacist for the past 8 years. He attended Texas Southern University and graduated in 2009.  He says that he always wanted to be a pharmacist but really wanted to be a local community pharmacist.   He lives in Katy and commutes to the store every day.  

He decided to open the pharmacy after learning that the Sealy area recently lost their locally owned pharmacy in December  2014.  He also  found  that there was a real need for a compounding pharmacy in the Sealy area.  As a community pharmacist he wants to offer services that the community needs such as free delivery, competitive pricing for cash customers , as well as compounding service.  

For those who are unfamiliar with the term compounding, compounding is the art and science of preparing personalized medications for patients. Compounded medications are made based on a doctor’s prescription in which individual ingredients are mixed together in the exact strength and dosage form required by the patient as prescribed by the patient’s doctor.

The free delivery service provided by the Sealy Pharmacy is for anyone who lives within 30 miles along Hwy 36.  To take advantage of this service, all you need to do is specify that you want your order delivered and they will deliver it to you free of charge.

The pharmacy can handle any and all pharmaceutical needs, over the counter drugs as well as medical supplies (such as crutches, bandages, adult diapers, etc.).  If there is a specialty item that the store does not carry, they can order the item and it will usually be delivered to the store by the next business day.   The Sealy pharmacy can meet any  of your pharmaceutical  needs from pediatric to geriatric.

The pharmacy is open M-F, 8am-7pm and Saturday from 9am-1pm and they are closed Sunday.  In addition to free delivery, they also have a convenient drive-thru window for those who want to quickly pull up and get their prescriptions.   Watch the video below to get a virtual tour of the Sealy Pharmacy and “meet” the owner Joseph Nidhin.
