The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners of Austin County are delighted to offer their Fall 2024 “Lunch-N-Learn” series, a free program designed to provide horticultural expertise to local homeowners and gardening enthusiasts. Held monthly on the third Tuesday, the series began in August and will conclude this November, with each session focused on a different, practical gardening topic.

This series takes place at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office, located at 800 E Wendt St in Bellville, and is led by local experts who share valuable insights and tips. Doors open at 11:50 a.m. with registration, and the program starts promptly at noon, wrapping up by 12:55 p.m. Following each presentation, speakers and members of the Austin County Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions, providing attendees with direct access to personalized advice.

The final fall presentation, happening Tuesday, November 19, will be led by Bluebonnet Master Gardener John Williamson. His session, titled “Entomology-Butterfliers,” will guide participants in ways to attract butterflies to their gardens and provide an understanding of butterfly-friendly plants to enhance backyard landscapes.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, though light refreshments will be available. Registration is optional, but those interested can register in advance to secure their spot.
