The Blinn College Valorant junior varsity team continued its run of varsity competition Thursday with an NJCAA Esports tilt against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
The Buccaneers fell 2-0 in a best-of-three series.
Blinn’s JV team is now 0-3 on the season.
Competing for the Bucs were Braeden Greiffenstein, Korey Keller, Tanner Cole, Justin Ni, and Isaiah Evans.
“We did not come out on top tonight, but the team is putting in the work. We just have not seen the results we are hoping for yet,” Blinn head coach and Valorant manager Aaron Kapiko. “We hope that with some more time as a team and more experience while competing we can start to string together rounds and put some wins on the board.”
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 45 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
