The Blinn College football team has made an addition to its schedule.
The Buccaneers will face Transformation With Athletics (TWA) College at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Cub Stadium in Brenham.?TWA is a college prep academy based in Austin.
The game will take the place of a scheduled bye week for Blinn and will return its schedule to nine games. The Bucs were set for a season-opening contest against Louisiana Community Christian (LCC) on Aug. 26, but the game was canceled after LCC withdrew due to a lack of players.
Blinn’s season will now open when it hosts Gordon Prep at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Cub Stadium.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 44 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
