The community of Bellville came together in a remarkable display of support for one of its own, Mr. Tracer Kruzel, who recently suffered severe and life threatening injuries in a work-related accident. The small town, known for its tight-knit community spirit, rallied behind Tracer and his family by organizing a benefit fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burden of medical bills.

Hosted at the Bellville Lions Club’s Concordia Hall (due to the weather), the event saw an overwhelming response from residents and local businesses alike. Bellville Meat Market and Hinze’s Barbecue generously donated essential food items, including sausage, beans, potato salad, and sauce, adding to the success of the fundraiser.

Support poured in from various quarters including the City of Bellville, Bellville Police Department, Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Tracer’s friends and family and Austin County Juneteenth Association to name a few.  The help of everyone played an integral part in organizing and promoting the fundraiser. Their efforts, combined with the collective support of the town, resulted in a sold-out event, surpassing all expectations.

Tracer, a former graduate of Bellville High School, continues to live and work in the area, further strengthening the bonds between him and the community. The success of the fundraiser not only helps to alleviate some of the financial strain but also serves as a testament to the unwavering support and compassion present in Bellville.  With the conclusion of the event, a message echoes loud and clear – in Bellville, neighbors stand by each other in times of need, embodying the true essence of community spirit.
