MidCoast Health System (MCHS) has announced a new partnership with the Bellville Hospital District, which will see the addition of MidCoast Medical Center-Bellville (previously known as Bellville Medical Center) and Tri County ER to their expanding healthcare system. It was stated that this partnership will allow MCHS to continue to provide top-quality patient care throughout the state of Texas.

MidCoast Medical Center – Bellville will continue to serve residents in Bellville, Texas, with a full-service hospital that offers emergency medical services, inpatient care, lab and imaging services, primary care through MidCoast Medical Clinic – Bellville, and therapy services. Additionally, Tri County ER will continue to operate under the same name and offer emergency medical services to residents in Sealy, Texas and the surrounding area.

MCHS began as a regional healthcare provider for the Texas Gulf Coast region, but has now expanded throughout the state of Texas in an effort to enhance and improve rural healthcare. The health system currently operates hospital facilities in El Campo, Palacios, Llano, and Trinity, along with 20 WellCare Clinics. The MidCoast Health System model has been recognized for its achievements and innovative methods to improve rural healthcare.

This news was posted on the MidCoast Health System’s Facebook page which was the Bellville Medical Center’s FB Page and has now been updated to reflect the takeover.  The website has also been changed to it current “Coming Soon” site.
