The Bellville FFA Chapter is proudly celebrating another year of remarkable achievements as they secure multiple team qualifications for the National Competition in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Agricultural Sales team, comprising Jaylen Tesch, Maddie Diezi, Ainsley Hancock, and Stewart Poffenberger, clinched first place at the State contest held at Sam Houston State University, while the Floriculture team, consisting of Lauren Lassus, Rachael Hohlt, Lydia Huebner, and Maddie Borne, secured an impressive second place out of 65 competing teams.

The Agricultural Sales team showcased their exceptional skills by successfully selling an agricultural product to a customer, engaging in team activities, and taking an exam. Their well-deserved victory at the State contest has earned them the opportunity to represent Bellville FFA at the National Competition in October.

Not to be outdone, the Floriculture team demonstrated their knowledge and expertise in the floral industry, securing an impressive second-place finish. Their outstanding performance is a testament to their dedication and hard work in mastering the intricate art of floriculture.

The success of these two teams was complemented by the achievements of other Bellville FFA teams at the State Contest. The Forage Team, consisting of Jack Luedeker, Kash Krueger, Gentrie Peschel, and James Schumann, secured a commendable fourth place. The Nursery Landscape team, comprising Levi Malinowski, Layne Malinowski, Katelyn Krenek, and Matthew Wybro, achieved a respectable ninth place.

Bellville FFA also celebrated multiple teams qualifying for the State Contest, further solidifying their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in various agricultural disciplines. The Livestock Judging team, represented by Darcy Luedke, Brooke Diezi, Baylie Macat, and Taylor Eckelberg, secured a commendable 14th place, while the Dairy Cattle Judging team, consisting of Gentrie Peschel, Brooke Diezi, Mackenzie Schrader, and Grace Hajek, achieved a respectable 16th place.

In addition, the Horse Judging team, featuring Gentrie Peschel, Mackenzie Jost, Tristen Benignus, and Ainsley Hancock, secured a commendable 16th place. The Poultry Judging team, comprising Fallon Chovanec, Jack Mercer, Lauren Lassus, and Grace Hajek, showcased their skills and knowledge in the field.

Bellville FFA’s commitment to excellence was further demonstrated by the Milk Quality Evaluation team, represented by Tegan Peschel, Shane Sturm, Haleigh Dinges, and Kaylie Wybro, and the Homesite Evaluation team, featuring Maddie Diezi, Jack Luedeker, Jaylen Tesch, and Gracie Johnson. Both teams displayed their expertise in their respective areas.

Lastly, the Wildlife Evaluation team, comprising Destynie Brokmeyer, Lonna Schumaker, Kayree Kolajajak, and Tristen Benignus, showcased their knowledge and understanding of wildlife conservation.

The outstanding performance of all these teams led to Bellville FFA being honored with the prestigious Area XI Sweepstakes CDE award for the seventeenth consecutive year. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and exceptional leadership within the Bellville FFA Chapter.
