Bellville Varsity Boys Basketball Team Falls to Navasota 52-26 in Tough Home Conference Loss
The Bellville varsity basketball team lost a tough home conference game against Navasota with a final score of 52-26. Despite the loss, the team currently holds a solid overall record of 14-7 and an impressive first quarter scoring average of 12.8 points per game. The team will continue to work hard and strive to improve as they gear up for the District and State championships.

Brahma Girls Basketball Team Falls Short Against Navasota, Despite Late Surge in Scoring
The Bellville Brahma Girls Basketball team lost a home conference game against Navasota with a final score of 56-33. Despite their 1-16 overall record, the team will look to improve their performances in the coming games. The Brahmas showed a late surge in scoring in the fourth quarter but it was not enough to overcome Navasota’s lead.

Faith Academy Knights Varsity Boys Basketball: A Tough Start to the New Year
Faith Academy Knights Varsity boys had a tough start to the new year, losing to Allen Academy 58-25 on January 3rd. Sr. Jonah Taake led the team with 11 points and 13 rebounds, with Freshman Joe Bob Lequerica adding 6 points and Sophomore Dylan Callihan chipping in with 5. Despite the loss, the team is determined to bounce back with more games coming up in the next month.
