The Bellville Brahma Girls Basketball team suffered a tough loss in their recent home conference game against Navasota, with a final score of 56-33. Despite the defeat, the team currently holds a ranking of 1,375 in the state and 184 in their division. With an overall record of 1-16, the Brahmas have struggled in both district and non-district play, with a record of 0-5 in district, 0-3 at home and 0-6 away games. The team’s win percentage sits at a low .059.

Looking at their performance in the game against Navasota, the Brahmas struggled to find the basket early on, posting scoring averages of 5.0 points in the first quarter, 5.3 in the second quarter, and 5.7 in the third quarter. They did pick up the scoring in the fourth quarter, with 8.0 points, but unfortunately, it was not enough to overcome Navasota’s lead.

While the season has been challenging for the Brahmas, they will look to improve and make a comeback in the coming games. With hard work and determination, the team will be looking to turn their fortunes around and get some much-needed wins on the board. The team and coaching staff will look to analyze the games and work on the issues, be it on the offensive or defensive side, to improve and make the adjustments to be more competitive.
