Bellville, TX – On Thursday, July 18th, Texas A&M Agrilife Extension of Austin County and Texas Department of State Health Services of Austin County will host its annual Back-to-School Fair. This event helps provide essential support for students and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The event will take place at Bellville High School, 850 Schumann Road, and will run from 10 AM to 12 PM. Backpacks and school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Adults are required to have their students with them to receive a backpack and supplies.
In addition to the backpack give away The Back to School Fair also offers a variety of health screenings for both adults and children. These screenings can help address health needs before the school year begins.
Sponsors include the Bellville Lions Club, Woodmen Life of Bellville and Sealy, CJ Tax Service, and the Austin County FCS Advisory Board.
