Faith Academy Cross Country Attends Brent Event 5K in Sugarland

It was great weather Saturday morning for a run and it showed with the Faith Academy Cross Country Team who ran at the Brent Event 5K in Sugarland.  Cruising through the finish line as first over-all female was Freshman Brianna Gallaher.  Brianna had a smoking time of 20:22 in the 3.1 mile race.  Shortly after came Senior Kelli Haynes,    Chrislyn Turner, 8th, and  Josh Poorman, 7th, all recording times in the 21 min. range.  Soon after John Poorman, 5^th,    Luke Potter, 7^th,   and   Joe Kieler, 6^th, came across with times in the 23 min range.  Taylor Hetzel, 7^th, also had a strong finish with a time of 24:32.  Freshman Miguel Guerrero was competing in his first 10K (6.2 miles) capped the excitement of the day finishing 4^th over-all with an impressive time of 41:41.  A lot of hard work goes into running these distances and times and they deserve a pat on the back.  Go Knights Cross Country!!
