Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate veterinary team. The technician works hand-in-hand with the veterinarians and plays a key role in communication with clients.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist Veterinarians during both out-patient exams and surgical procedures.
• Perform lab testing, pre-admission exams, dental checks, and discharge hospitalized patients.
• Maintain proper care and medication administration of hospitalized patients and assist kennel staff if applicable.
• Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Maintain medical records, log controlled drugs, and assist with inventory.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms.
• Prepare surgical suite and clean suite and instruments after each procedure.
• Client education and callbacks.

Required Experience: 2 years prior Veterinary Technician experience

Preferred Certification: Licensed Veterinary Technician

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
