The Wallis Area Chamber of Commerce warmly invites you to participate in the Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. This year’s festive theme, Ugly Christmas Sweater, encourages attendees and participants to showcase their most creative holiday attire for a chance to win the themed contest.
To join the parade, pre-registration is required. Registration is free and can be completed in several ways:

Completed paper forms can be submitted to the Wallis Area Chamber of Commerce at 6810 Guyler Street #800, Wallis, TX 77485, or emailed to [email protected]. Register early to secure your spot, as a large community turnout is expected!
This year, the parade features exciting new entry categories, including SUVs, Side-by-Sides, and the creative “Anything Goes” category. For safety reasons, participants are asked not to throw items from their vehicles or floats, as this could endanger children who might run into the street. The parade lineup begins on South 9th Street at Demel Street near Guardian Angel Catholic Church. From there, the parade will proceed along Highway 36, ending at 330 Legion Road, American Legion Post 200. After the parade, the festivities will continue at the American Legion with sweet treats provided by the Wallis Area Chamber of Commerce and the Wallis Police Department. Attendees can enjoy a meet-and-greet with Santa, complete with photo opportunities. Additional activities include hamburger sales by 2025 Project Graduation and a lively cake walk hosted by The Brazos Band. Winners of the contests for the Ugliest Sweater, Best Parade Entry, Best Decorated Storefront/Business, and Best Decorated Residence will be announced during the event.
