Birding, also called birdwatching, is the observation and study of birds in their natural habitats, typically with the help of binoculars, cameras, and field guides. It can be as casual as watching birds at a backyard feeder or as adventurous as traveling to different locations to spot rare species. For those who are unable to get outdoors or travel to remote locations to view birds, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is gearing up for the 2025 Virtual Birding Seminars, an engaging online series designed to expand your birding knowledge from the comfort of your home. Three seminars will be offered throughout the year, each highlighting unique aspects of birding, conservation, and identification.
