The Virgil & Josephine Gordon Memorial Library in Sealy, Texas, has officially announced its Summer 2024 Program, promising an array of engaging activities designed to bring together community members of all ages. From toddlers to teens and adults, the library’s summer schedule is packed with events that cater to diverse interests and encourage learning and fun in a community-centric environment.

The program kicks off with the popular “Toddler Storytime” sessions held every Wednesday at 10 am. These events are specifically designed to spark the imaginations of the library’s youngest patrons, ages 0-5, through enchanting stories and interactive play that promote early literacy.

Older kids and teens aren’t left out, with the library offering specially tailored activities that include a thrilling “Magic Show” on June 3rd and July 9th.  A lively “Foam Party” on July 22nd, both aimed at creating memorable experiences in a safe and inviting setting.  Archery class, a reptile show and much more are available for the public.

Bird enthusiasts will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge through the “Bird Identification” workshop scheduled for July 8th. This educational event will provide insights into the local avian population, ideal for families looking to engage with nature and learn more about the environment.

The summer program is a part of the library’s ongoing efforts to enhance community engagement and provide valuable resources to the residents of Sealy.
