Hours open: Saturdays 11:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m.

The Austin County Jail Museum is a local visitor attraction and treasure open Saturdays and manned by volunteers.  The exhibits are fun and educational and your time spent there will be a gift to you and to our county.  For more information about the Austin County Jail Museum contact the Austin County Judge’s office at (979) 865-5911 and they will put you in touch with the museum’s current volunteer representative.

If you are interested in hosting tours at the Jail Museum one Saturday per month, please contact the Austin County Judge’s Office at (979) 865-5911 and they will get you in touch with the current museum’s volunteer representative.  You will be given an orientation before you begin.
