After dropping the opener 13-2 in five innings, the Buccaneers prevailed in an 8-6 thriller in game two.
Blinn is now 8-21 overall.
In game one, the Eagles scored in all four of their at-bats to earn the run-rule victory.
The Buccaneers scored twice in the top of the fourth inning on Acie Prince‘s two-run home run, which also scored Keely Castillo.
Kaitlyn Sadler started for Blinn and was the pitcher of record.
The Buccaneers ended the day with a seventh-inning rally that sent them home victorious.
Blinn led 6-2 heading into the bottom of the third inning before Northeast Texas scored twice in the bottom of the frame and twice more in the fourth to force a tie.
In the top of the seventh, Keely Castillo belted a two-run homer to left, scoring Teagan Whitley and putting the Bucs ahead for good.
Chloee Mason tossed a complete game for Blinn and allowed four earned runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
“It was a disappointing first game, but we regrouped for a win in game two,” Bucs head coach Rick Church said.
Prince gave Blinn a 3-0 lead with her second home run of the day, a three-run shot in the top of the first that also scored Chandler Talbot and Teagan Whitley.
Prince has homered in each of her last three games.
Kayla Wallace also smacked a three-run homer, driving in Prince and Kenley Strange and making it a 6-2 ballgame in the top of the third.
The Buccaneers out-hit the Eagles 10-8, including a trio of two-hit performances from Prince, Whitley, and Wallace.
Blinn plays two more on the road when it visits Kilgore College for a doubleheader beginning at noon Sunday in Kilgore, Texas.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
