We must embrace some fundamental truths concerning government. The first fundamental truth: Government and Liberty are enemies. Government and Liberty cannot get along because when Liberty prospers, government will always have less power. The truth is that every government on the planet WANTS to be a Kingdom and where the government is free to be all-powerful; it wants to do all things. Some governments want to have the power to do good things, some governments want to have the power to do bad things but, regardless of the motivation for that power, the Liberty of the People must be sacrificed.
The second fundamental truth: Government schools cannot teach Liberty properly. If government schools taught Liberty in its proper form, then they would teach that government is to be feared. Government schools will never teach that government should be limited and controlled by the people. Government schools will never teach that the central government was created by the States on behalf of the People and that government was created in a “limited and defined” capacity to be in submission to the States and the people. Government schools CANNOT and WILL NOT teach that because that education makes them smaller and smaller when they want to be bigger and bigger. They will teach our children that government is NOT to be questioned.
The third fundamental truth: When parents put the government in charge of teaching their children, they should expect their children to learn to love government. Government will always teach that they are benevolent and have the best interest of the people in mind. It does not have to be true; Stalin’s schools taught this very thing. Government has to teach this way because it has to teach children to trust government. Government schools will always teach that government knows best and is a gracious provider. Government schools will teach there is no reason to withhold anything from government, so children become adults conditioned to believe that government will always take care of them. Whenever government almost exclusively teaches a society, we should not be surprised that our children will want big government and with every generation, government gets bigger and bigger.
Finally, Government has no respect of parties. Democrat and Republican establishments, together, are synonymous with “government.” Why would Republicans be pushing federal education programs? The same reason Democrats push federal education programs…to raise people who love government and are willing to give them all the power and money they need. Government wants power. Government wants control. And they need people to passively accept this so that government, in its pretended factions, works together to make sure they raise up generations of people who will give them whatever they want. Founding mother Mercy Otis Warren aptly named them “prostitutes for power.” (History of the Rise, Progress and Termination of the American Revolution 1805, Chapter 2 – The Stamp Act; pg 37) Both pretended factions support government education so they are assured they will always have all the power and money and the people will always remain in submission.
All of this is why government must promote federal education and undermine private and home school education. They will always attempt to control it and will eventually make it illegal. The real problem is that until Liberty minded people recognize these fundamental truths and remove their children from the government system, all the work we do for Liberty today will be in vain. By turning our children over to government education, we are ensuring that they are taught that the enemy is their friend. We may restore the path to limited government today, but we are raising our children to be happy slaves.
KrisAnne Hall is an attorney and former prosecutor, fired after teaching the Constitution to TEA Party groups – she would not sacrifice liberty for a paycheck. She is a disabled veteran of the US Army, a Russian linguist, a mother, a pastor’s wife and a patriot. She now travels the country and teaches the Constitution and the history that gave us our founding documents. KrisAnne Hall does not just teach the Constitution, she lays the foundations that show how reliable and relevant our founding documents are today. She presents the “genealogy” of the Constitution – the 700 year history and five foundational documents that are the very Roots of American Liberty.
