The Sheriff’s Association of Texas presented a $500.00 scholarship to Adrian L. Holmes, who is the son of Austin County Sheriff’s Office Investigator, Charles Holmes. Adrian Holmes is currently a junior at Pima Medical Institute College in Houston, Texas, and is pursuing a career in the medical field.
“The fact that this young person is attending college and will be making a positive impact in our society is wonderful. He is certainly an excellent role model for all young people in our county. I am very proud of him and the Holmes Family. Investigator Holmes has served Austin County as a Law Officer for 31 years and it has been my pleasure to work with him. It’s a great thing that people all the way up to Austin, Texas honors someone from our county!” says Sheriff Brandes.
