Blinn College men’s soccer fell short in a Region XIV road match at Angelina College on Friday in Lufkin, Texas.
The Roadrunners earned a 4-2 victory over the Buccaneers.
“This was an exciting game for the fans to watch with both teams really going at it for 90 minutes,” Blinn head coach Michael McBride said. “The lads certainly gave the No. 9 team in the country problems on their home pitch. We came away on the wrong side of the result tonight, but the lads gave their all. We look forward to hosting Angelina in the return game.”
Blinn is now 9-3 overall with a 3-2 record in Region XIV. The Bucs will host Angelina in a rematch on Oct. 10.
