Local police departments are once again bringing holiday cheer to the community by organizing a toy drive to ensure children enjoy a memorable Christmas. These initiatives not only brighten the season for local kids but also strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the families they serve. Below, you’ll find information on how to apply for these programs through the Sealy and Wallis police departments. There may be other departments participating. We’ll continue to share updates as more details become available.
The Wallis Police Department is once again bringing holiday joy to local children through its annual Kids, Cops, and Christmas program, now in its 11th year. Designed to help families in need, the program ensures that children in the Wallis community experience a memorable holiday season.
To participate, parents or legal guardians must complete an entry form, available at Wallis City Hall or various local businesses. Completed forms can be submitted in person at City Hall, located at 6810 Guyler Street, or mailed to Wallis PD at P.O. Box 190, Wallis, TX 77485. All forms must be submitted by Monday, December 2nd, by 4 p.m., and late entries will not be accepted. If selected, families will be contacted at the phone number provided on their entry form with details about the event. Community members wishing to support the program can make monetary donations at the First National Bank of Bellville’s Wallis branch under the account name “Kids, Cops, and Christmas.” Additionally, new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Wallis City Hall or the Wallis Police Department from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
For questions or more information, contact Chief David Moseley at [email protected]. Thanks to the generosity of the Wallis community, the Wallis Police Department is able to make the holiday season brighter for local children.
