Sealy PD Investigation Leads to the Arrest of Alleged Child Sexual Assaulter

Sealy Police Department received a report of a possible sexual assault of a child. Sealy PD Detectives began an investigation into the allegations. Detectives worked with Child Protective Services along with the Child Advocacy Center and as a result of the investigation Sealy PD obtained an arrest warrant for Joseph Mesa (34) of Sealy. On July 24th, 2023 at approximately 6:50 am the US Marshal’s Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, apprehended Mesa in the 1600 block of Hwy 90 W. Mesa was booked in to the Austin County Jail for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
