CPR is probably one of the most important skills one could learn. In fact, a new study points to the fact that training more community members, patients and families to recognize and respond to a cardiac arrest before medical help arrives may help more victims survive.
The Sealy ER wants those in our community to have this life saving skill and has taken the initiative to host CPR Classes. Their next class will be this Saturday October 21 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at the Sealy ER. Sealy ER’s monthly FREE AED/CPR Training Class gives you a hands-on skills training class which prepares you to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. It also teaches the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Each class lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours long and takes place at Sealy ER. Once you’ve completed the class, you will receive your CPR certification from The American Heart Association.
