One of the San Felipe De Austin Museum buildings caught fire and “burned to the ground” according to a Facebook post by local resident Kent McAllister, who posted the event along with a video to his Facebook Page an hour ago; April 9, 2021 at 10:35.  The video shows one of the side structures of the museum engulfed in flames with no obvious police or fire vehicles present.

We have received no word of the incident from local officials and will report more on this story as it develops.
