“Exceptional Service to our community with Pride, Honesty and Integrity through efforts of Compassion, Teamwork and Knowledge while maintaining the Dignity of citizens we serve.” Is the motto of Austin County EMS. Today, Tuesday June, 24, ACEMS showed that service to one person. They responded to a call around 6:30 pm that required life flight be called.
“The victim was working with some cattle off Schmidt Rd. in Sealy,” stated one source. Lacerations to the head and neck required that the victim be taken by ACEMS to the parking lot at 2220 Hwy 36 where Austin County Sheriff’s Department and Sealy Police Department had blocked off a portion of the area to allow life flight to land. Within minutes of the response ACEMS had the victim ready to be loaded onto life flight.
