People from as far away as Dallas came to protest an alleged animal cruelty case Wednesday morning in Bellville. The protesters from around the state, as well as, local protesters were all there in support of a cat named Tiger.
“Justice for Tiger” was the mantra of protest from T-shirts to signs as well as people voicing their views. Several people have taken to Facebook and the social media forums to show their support for the deceased animal.
The case is based on a Facebook posting by Kristen Lindsey showing Lindsey with the cat “Tiger” sporting an arrow through the head and dead. The charges against Lindsey will be no billed. An Austin County Grand Jury decided Wednesday that there was not enough evidence to prosecute the case.
The protesters were expecting a larger turnout but were happy just the same with those who did show up in support of their cause.
