The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will hold a six-part virtual Lady Landowner Series program starting April 27.
The series offers research-based information designed to empower female landowners. Participants will receive valuable information on a variety of topics relevant to Texas landowners today.
The classes will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Thursday through June 1. The classes will also be recorded for participants to view. The cost is $25, and participants must preregister at https://tx.ag/2023LadyLandowner.
The event is hosted by the AgriLife Extension offices in Cass, Camp, Franklin, Red River, Delta, Tarrant and Cooke counties.
“Whether experienced or new to land ownership and management, the goal of this program is to further empower women and provide information to help them make land-related decisions with confidence,” said Tanah Lowe, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent for Cooke County.
Two Texas Department of Agriculture integrated pest management continuing education units for licensed private pesticide applicators will be available. Licensed real estate agents may earn five Texas Real Estate Commission continuing education units. Participants must provide their license number at the time of registration.
